Rupsa Chakraborty

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher based at HIF, primarily affiliated with CASUS. My educational background is in the field of Applied Geology and am very interested in the potential of hyperspectral remote sensing in this niche. I acquired my formal training in remote sensing, specialising in geosciences, at the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing under ISRO in India. Furthermore, I pursued my doctoral degree from Massey University in New Zealand. My doctoral thesis focused on integrating biogeochemical attributes of the vegetation cover with subsurface mineralisation, employing airborne hyperspectral data for mineral exploration purposes.
